My name is Alexis Macias, and I created Salt & Saguaro after living through total burnout. Moving from San Diego to Phoenix in 2023 was a massive shift. I lost myself giving everything to everyone else, leaving my mental health at an all time low and my living space out of reach.

Learning to choose myself changed everything. With the support of my fiancée, I discovered the beauty of Arizona especially Saguaro Lake which brought back the same peace I always found in the ocean. Taking care of my surroundings restored my mental clarity and gave me my life back.
